My interest in jewellery started as a child when I used to enjoy making my own jewellery using fimo, wire, beads and resins.
After school I studied fine art foundation where I confirmed my love for 3d art and sculpture.
I followed this with an Hnd in silversmithing at Kent Institute of Art and Design. Here I was taught and guided by the skilled craftsmen Ian Calvert and Norman Bassant. In my final year I also worked for a objet D'art maker and worked on pieces for "The St petersburg Colllection", as well as for Aspreys in Old Bond Street. These experiences and training helped me to win an award at the 1996 Goldsmith Councils Competition, Junior Silversmith.
From college I went to work as a Designer at Cambery Design in New Bond Street, London. Here I gained the experience of designing for the High End, West end Jewellers.
With a need to broaden my experience I moved from Bond Street to Hatton Garden, I gained invaluble experience working at the supply end of the market, learning about the metallurgy and sourcing of the products I use.
After a break to start my family, I now use all my experience and knowledge to run my own company making the sort of jewellery I hope you'll all want to wear!
